Résumé du livre
In a former work dedicated to the Burning Apostolic Life of Marie Rivier, we felt the need to preface our study with a few pages to tone down the traits of character ascribed to her by some biographers. Far from wanting to present a honeyed beauty, we have allowed the Mother herself to explain h er vigorous language which presents nothing rough or intransigent. If some show of anger recalls Jesus, facing the sellers in the Temple, does she not remain a kindly incarnation of the God of tenderness and kindness? The pages dedicated to her work among adolescents and children have abundantly proven it. The present volume which defines more clearly her action, by limiting it to her religious family, wishes to be an eloquent assertatioon of her tenderness for her daughters. -- From foreward.
