History of the home built in on Park Street in Grinnell, Iowa for Mr. Henry G. Little by Mr. R.M. Kellogg. "The building was mainly a reduced copy of the brick residence that Mr. Little had built and occupied in Kewanee, Ill., and which was modeled after a stately New England home." In 1887 Mr. Little sold his home to Iowa college. The home, occupied by Presidents Gates, Bradley and Main, became know as "The President's House."
