This survey would appear to be the first of its kind and is intended primarily to assist the Bureau for the Aged in determining how successful the service has been; and as a guide for future policy on tailoring of service provision to user's needs as well as from the economic viewpoint of the most effective type of advertising to use, adequate provision of telephones and personel.
