The National Military Strategy of the United States of America recognizes that highquality people, innovative leadership and an effective organizational structure are needed to prepare warriors for the challenges of the future. To succeed in the technological military of the future, the United States needs a high percentage of military offi cers and defense civilians with a superior understanding of systems engineering and integration. NPS provides these skills through a postgraduatelevel education in science, technology and management.
