Résumé du livre
There are several letters and two embroidered postcards from Frederick to his family where he describes his travels, army training, life in camp and the everyday experiences of a soldier at war. There is an official telegram notifying the family of his death, and two sympathy letters from friends. Other materials include Frederick Brandon's Christian commitment card, a handwritten version of 'The Kings Brigade' lyrics, photocopies of photographs of Frederick wearing military uniform, and contemporary views of the Commonwealth Villers-Bretonneux Memorial cemetery where his name is inscribed. There are also typed transcripts of Frederick's letters provided by his family.
