William Bryan, son of Josiah Bryan (b. 1734) and Sarah, was born in about 1752 in King George County, Virginia. He married Lilly Asher in about 1770. They had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri and Colorado.
