Résumé du livre
Holograph letter written by Harlan in response to a letter received from George Frazee of Burlington, Iowa. The letter discusses an election controversy -- presumably Harlan's election in 1855 to the U.S. Senate as a member of the Free Soil Party -- and what would happen if the Senate were to declare the election void. Harlan asks Frazee to send him some articles which appeared in the Burlington Gazette on the subject. Harlan's letter was sent from Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
