Carly Turner's life is turned upside down when she and her partner become the lead detectives on a bloody killing. The investigation leads them to other crimes and other bodies. But are there multiple killers or is it one person manipulating the evidence? When Carly is attacked, receiving life threatening injuries, she ends up in the hospital. When she returns to her department and her duties, she is treated like a criminal and finds that none of her fellow officers will partner with her. She is forced to leave a career that she loves. Carly takes over her father's flight service in the valley and time begins to heal her wounds. But the past will not let go of her. Her old case comes back to haunt her and she is forced to deal with what almost killed her.
