Résumé du livre
Jumbo was taken from his mother and sold to a wild animal trader who then sold him to a zoo in France. That zoo traded him to the London Zoo, where friendly Jumbo was treated very well. At the age of seven, something happened and Jumbo suddenly began to grow again. When he finished, he was over 11 feet tall and weighed about 13,000 pounds. But despite his size, Jumbo remained a friendly elephant who seemed to enjoy giving children rides as much as the children loved taking rides on Jumbo's back. Later, P.T. Barnum brought Jumbo to the United States, where he delighted more people until he died in an accident.
