Volume 1: A Ms. translation of extracts from Font's diary, Sept. 29, 1775-June 2, 1776, originally compiled by him at the Mission of Ures, June 5-23, 1776, and providing a daily record of the second Anza expedition. Date of this translation originally in the collection of General M.G. Vallejo, is not known. Volume 2: A transcript of this translation, in the handwriting of Thomas L. Pinart, presumably done before Vallejo presented his copy to Bancroft.
