The halo blight of bean is induced by Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. phaseolicola, a pathogenic bacterium presenting a rather large diversity of origins since it was isolated from seven different genera of legumes, and consists in nine pathogenic races. The results show a differential interest of the three molecular techniques dealing with repeated sequences of the bacterial genome, tha was never reported.
