Letters of John Torrey Morse written to Rev. William C. Gannett, primarily regarding the Harvard University Class of 1860 of which they were both members. The letters contain discussions of college days, classmates, and reunions, as well as their opinions on a controversy at the school in 1922 on whether to allow Black students to live in the freshman dormitories. Also, the "Chronicles of the Class of 1860" describing their four college years, and two reports of Morse (1922,1923) as secretary of the class.
