Résumé du livre
Book Smart is a project which incorporated my skills as a computer science student and a business student in the IS degree program. Book Smart was designed in visual basic, a compiler for windows 95. The program consisted of four major areas. The first was point of contacts. This area allows data entry on perspective product buyers as well as sellers. Distribution is the next area. In this area incoming and outgoing invoices are placed according to business activity. The next area is product. In this area two items are explored, inventory and promotion. Promotion is used to keep track of items that are on sale. The last major area is employees. This area keeps track of employees and which items they are responsible of. In the program, there are two minor areas. The first is advanced techniques. In this area the user may view any records by using Search Query Language, or SQL for short. The second minor area is the help menu system. Users that need help may either get help from the main menu or the secondary menu. To facilitate easier use I created a multiple document interface. That is to say users may load more than one document at one time.
