Résumé du livre
Cross Sections, Catherine Wagner's first book since Art and Science: Investigating Matter (1996), features new work completed between 1998 and 2001. With a Visual Artist Fellowship grant from the San Jose Museum of Art, Wagner began making photographic images using MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and SEM (scanning electron microscopy) technology to create a new body of work that explores both the unique individuality of common objects and their transcendental qualities.
