The first edition of this standard catalogue raisonne was published in French in a limited edition in 1977 and is now very expensive. The 900+ illustrations in the catalogue and other sections were in black and white. This new edition reproduces more than two-thirds of the catalogue entries in color. The new publication preserves the original French text and adds a previously unpublished introduction by the author in English. This new catalogue also adds references to public sales and exhibition catalogues since 1977 in English for each of the catalogue entries and makes a number of additions and corrections.
