Résumé du livre

James I. Fellows in St. John, New Brunswick, writes on his letterhead stationery from the "Principal office for Fellow's [sic] Compound Syrup of Hypophosphites" to Mr. Donovan, 7 July 1870. Fellows notes he is forwarding a case of his preparation of Hypophosphites with the request "to please give one bottle to Mr. Grosbeck the gentlemanly conductor of the N.Y. & Albany train in which I made your acquaintance. Should you know of any person suffering from Consumption, Asthma, Bronchitis, or any Nervous Affection involving the Stomach, Liver, Heart, or Lungs, you can safely, and with the best results, give them this medicine."
