Joan Drescher Cooper divides her days between home on Maryland's Eastern Shore and teaching in Baltimore. Avid cook, gardener, and master dog walker, she also enjoys days spent with her own children and grandchildren. She is a founding member of the Salisbury Writers Group, and active in the Maryland Writers Association and the Eastern Shore Writers Association.
