Résumé du livre
This book will be useful to Somali children who are new to schools in Britain and new to the English language, but who are able to read in their own language. The teachers should spend some time in showing the pupil how to use the book. The explanations at the beginning of each section will be useful in alerting the teacher to some of the things which the Somali speaker may find different or unusual about English. An example of this is the naming system, which is quite different in Somali culture. The teacher may also be able to use sections of the book, and vocabulary lists and tables at the back, as the basis for some sessions in teh language class.--page 1.
