"First edition of this title limited to ten copies of which only five copies are offered for sale. The book contains an essay of 12,000 words tracing the history and circumstances surrounding the publishing efforts of Robert C. Littlewood, together with the first eighty-nine printed on the etching press at the Littlewood Press. Artists include, Pro Hart, Lionel Lindsay, Norman Lindsay, Allan Jordan, Trish Hart, Tony Irving, Andrew Sibley, Robbie Harmsworth, Peter Jones and Leslie Tarrant. All eighty-nine etchings are sewn-in on full sheets. The paper stock for this book is pure cotton Velin Arches 160 gsm. All of the original etchings have been printed by Robert C. Littlewood at the Atelier of the Littlewood Press in Belson Street, Malvern, Victoria. The binding of this book has been crafted by Paul Schubert of Narre Warren North, Victoria. The spine of the book has been covered in sting-ray skin and the boards in kangaroo skin. Each book has been housed in a purpose-built box.
