These are the proceedings of the 22nd annual event of IDEAS. We continue to struggle with the challenge of holding highly selective meetings such as IDEAS with an increasing number of for-profit conferences which use the all invited paper or plenary speaker approach with papers guaranteed to be accepted. In spite of this challenges, we continue in getting very interesting papers with new approaches and ideas. This allows us to continue to be selective. This meeting highlights the current per-occupation with big data, data analytics and the rape of personal data on the web platform; this is reflected in the papers in these proceedings.
