Résumé du livre
"This text is intended to serve the student both as a lecture and laboratory guide to common angiosperm families of the northeastern United States. Representative species from central New York have been chosen to illustrate vegetative and reproductive morphology of each family. Because no single species can fully convey all family characteristics adequately, examination of other representatives is necessary in accounting for the range of variation in character traits in each family. The arrangement of families follows the phylogenetic order of the Manual of Vascular Plants of Northeastern United States and Adjacent Canada by H.A. Gleason and A. Cronquist, second edition, 1991"--Page 1
