An instructional book including a CD for learning folk fiddling. No prior playing experience is necessary. No music reading skills are required. Several fiddle tunes are taught primarily by the accompanying CD with the help of spoken instructions and musical examples. The book follows the CD, and includes written music for the tunes, plus additional explanation of playing techniques and tips for practicing, playing by ear, tuning the instrument, etc.
