The book presents the most emblematic pieces discovered during the excavation of the Rhone: rare bronze objects, architectural fragments, statues and jewelry Roman votive objects, amphorae, helmets, jewelry from the ancient Arles county museum, the Louvre Museum Calvet of Avignon and the museum of Turin. Located in the lower Rhone valley, along the river and about thirty kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, Arles had all the requirements to become an important commercial and political center, that these recent excavations have uncovered.
