Résumé du livre
Night after night, Charles “Pa” Ingalls lifted his fiddle and filled their cabin with music as the family gathered to listen, sing, and dance. Music was the heartbeat of their home, lifting their spirits amid the hardships of prairie life. Step into the world of Prairie Pioneer Fiddle Tunes—a musical journey inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved stories of 19th-century frontier life.
This book brings together the 106 tunes that Wilder wrote about in her Little House books. The tunes are presented in lead sheet format, with chord symbols for optional accompanying instruments. Written in the traditional fiddling keys that Pa Ingalls most likely used, these tunes range in difficulty from Very Easy to Somewhat Difficult, with most falling in the Easy to Moderate range. Bowing and fingering suggestions are included, as well as helpful violin and fiddling techniques. Also included are historical notes for many of the tunes, along with book quotes and scene descriptions highlighting when each tune first appears in the Little House stories.
