Résumé du livre
Key Findings: Public opinion indicates underlying support for greater emphasis on primary care, prevention, health information systems and other components of proposed health reform. However, there is also evidence of public concern (1) about the trustworthiness of health care products, providers, and sources of health information; (2) about privacy and confidentiality of medical records; (3) about consumers' capacity and willingness to take on greater responsibility for making health care decisions; and, (4) about the effects of reform on choice of providers and treatment options.
