Three Faces of Christ

The title poem of The Three Faces of Christ (the book is mostly prose) explores Christ's vulnerability and divinity, his delight in us and care for us, his suffering on our behalf, and the comfort he draws from our love. These concepts, which are both moving and startling, are explored further in other pieces. We begin with the incarnation, the light of Christ coming into the world, move on to Christ's struggle to defeat darkness and restore Eden to us at great cost, and finally to rediscovering Eden for ourselves, as we explore who we truly are in God.
