Shawn A. Goins was born and raised on the west side of Chicago, Illinois. He attended the Keller Graduate School in Chicago where he obtained his Master's degree in Information System Management in 2003. During most of his adult life he has come across many obstacles, challenges, and people. At a certain point over the years, he decided to write about how these events have molded and shaped his soul, his outlook on life, love, heartache, pain, discomfort, and affection. Shawn invites you to sit back and take a moment to experience what he calls a poetic journey that will make you think, reflect and maybe even change the way you see things from this point on.
