The Puntoon Book

A puntoon is a word that I invented to describe a story that has as many puns packed into it as possible. It's one part pun and one part cartoon - thus puntoon. This illustrated book contains seven puntoons, each of which tells a different story using puns from a specific theme like planets, cheese or the ocean. For example, the cheese puntoon tells the story of two quarreling brothers with some thirty cheese puns worked into the narrative. The ocean puntoon has fifty ocean-related puns woven into a plea for humanity to come together. Basically, I love puns and I love telling stories. The puntoon, I discovered, is a way to play with both of these passions at the same time.
