Clippings, photographs, notes and notebooks, newspaper columns and articles, correspondence, manuscripts and drafts of works illustrating Raymond's career as an author of young adult materials and as a poet. The papers include extensive revisions of her work, often as many as four or five versions of a single item. There is an abundance of her early poetry, drafts of many short stories, essays, plays, projected books, as well as the complete but unpublished manuscript of her last major work, Indoor games for indoor children, which contains activities for children convalescing at home.
