This volume is specifically dedicated to developments in Marxist theory. It includes an article on Marxist class analysis and radical social theories, which covers class structure and analysis, social feminism and Marxist analyses of the position of women. An article on economic structure and technological change covers the social organization of learning, science and economic forms of technological change, innovative costs - demand and evolution, new product developments, and the universality of technological change in capitalism. Also included in the volume is a history of exploitation and racial inequality in the US economy, covering non-exploitation approaches to racial inequality and domination and segregation; a study of Lenin and the socialist transition in Russia; and Maurice Dobb's research on the Marxist and Smithian interpretation of the transition to capitalism.
