Résumé du livre

Cannabis-related and marijuana-related inventions and methods ARE patent-eligible, and this book effectively demonstrates this fact. The book takes the reader through various aspects of the U.S. patent system, using other forms of intellectual property to provide balance and context. The book first explores several valid Issued U.S. patents for cannabis-related inventions, as well as cannabinoids. The book then discusses the elements of a patent application, and how inventors can prepare and file various portions themselves (without a patent attorney). The book goes through how to make an effective patent disclosure, even when a person is not intimately familiar with the U.S. patent style and format. Several different examples of patent disclosures are used, including mechanical devices as well as computer software products. Some of the common myths and misunderstandings about patent filings and the patent process are addressed in this book.
