Delevan Clark Sheldon was born in Rock Dell in Rochester Township, south of the city of Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota, on 18 January 1878. He was the youngest of two sons of John Taylor Sheldon and Lydia Evalyn Rose. Bessie LeSuer Churchill, daughter of Albert John Churchill and Ida Jane LeSuer, was born 8 October 1879 in Mazeppa, Wabasha County, Minnesota. Delevan and Bessie were married on Flag Day, 14 June 1904. Includes their ancestors and descendants.
