Résumé du livre

The mean rainfall maps for November for two small areas of Central America showed the existence of the extreme variation in rainfall in short distances, even on level terrain. Also shown are examples of daily meso-scale rainfall patterns. The daily variations of rainfall are discussed. The first analysis for the data from British Honduras, El Salvador, Honduras and Panama was completed. The distribution of annual totals of rainfall was normal for 87% of the stations. For monthly totals, over 90% of the stationmonths showed a square-root normal distribution. (Author).
