Résumé du livre
As part of an ongoing program to improve detailed map coverage of the Grenville Province to assist both metallic and non-metallic mineral exploration, detailed mapping of the Grimsthorpe area was begun in 1990. The Grimsthorpe area is located 60 km north-northwest of the city of Napanee, and approximately 200 km northeast of Toronto. This report describes the access, physiography, previous geological work, and present survey of the area; its general geology, metamorphism, structural geology, geochronology, and geophysics; and the economic geology, including mining exploration activity, assay results, indications of gold, talc, and building stone, and the Partridge Creek Alteration Zone.
