Résumé du livre

FBI agent Dennis Paterson has been searching in vain for a terrorist known only as Martinez for the past ten years. He soon learns that Martinez is the prime suspect in the brutal murder of a man named Kevin Spencer.

Agent Paterson find Martinez’s DNA at the crime scene and mysterious video. In the video, Kevin details Martinez’s plans to assassinate a powerful American Senator named Jefferson Anderson. The video also reveals that Kevin and Senator Anderson were both soldiers in the eighty-six airborne platoon during World War II.

Martinez contrives a plan to murder the senator and ever soldier from the eighty- six platoon for their betrayal. Martinez conspired with a former German soldier named Albert Kandinsky to fulfil his quest for revenge. Martinez pursues Senator Anderson and compels him to reveal the whereabouts of the treasure he stole forty years ago.

Agent Paterson and his new partner Craig Holloway have only three day to thwart Martinez’s plan before Senator Anderson is assassinated. Their investigation leads them to France where they discover that Martinez has conspired with a corrupt FBI agent to kill Senator Anderson.

Agent Paterson learns that Senator Anderson and his platoon were complicit in murder of an American soldier and the theft of high valued treasure during the D-Day invasion. Paterson realizes that Martinez was a soldier in the eighty-six-platoon commanded by senator Anderson. One by one Martinez executes his former friends for their treachery.

Can agent Paterson find Martinez before senator Anderson is assassinated? Will Martinez fulfill his quest for revenge. Can Martinez steal the high valued treasure senator Anderson stole? Will agent Paterson find Martinez before he is betrayed by a fellow member of the FBI.
