Minerals (Oxides of Type M3 O4)

This volume continues the description of oxidic Mn minerals of the type M3O4 (galaxite, franklinite, jacobsite, manganochromite, vuorelainenite, iwakiite, marokite, and filipstadite). Crystallographic data, physical properties, and the chemical and thermal behavior are discussed with special emphasis placed on the chemical composition of the minerals. Ferrite spinels (magnetite, ulvöspinel, and magnesioferrite) containing at least 1 % Mn are covered in an abbreviated format.
