All photographers take a parting shot of their subjects after the shoot, for luck and for their personal records. Eve Arnold always photographed the hands - and sometimes the feet - of her sitters. In this beautifully produced book is a selection of two hundred of these photographs, in colour and black and white, spanning Eve's entire career - the famous picture of a newborn baby clutching its mother, a bride's hand being hennaed in a Dubai harem, the hands of a mother holding her dying child in Africa, men holding hands in a Kabul bazaar.
