In 2016, best selling children's author Helen Bailey went missing from her large detached Edwardian home 'Hartwell Lodge' in Royston, Hertfordshire. Her disappearance sparked a UK wide search to find her. Ian Stewart, Helen's partner at the time, told Helen's family and friends that Helen had left voluntarily after leaving him a note saying that she wanted some time alone and did not want to be contacted. However, the reality of the situation was far more sinister.
