The five sections are neither disciplinary nor chronological, but reflect his concern with such elements of structure and design as strut and plane, joint and connection. Drawings of plans, and essays of principles and philosophy accompany Blaser's own exquisite black-and-white photographs of individual pieces, whole rooms, and specific details.
