Today, many public utilities are designed for different users particularly for elders, disabled and children. They are considered special people, for they need special care and attention. With this regard, the designers are faced with a new sense of responsibility in coming up with new innovations and design for them.The study is focused on the improvement and modification of the Public Telephone System for elders, children and disabled with emphasis on its structural design. Based on the observation made, modifications include lowering the payphone height, widening the phone booth and installing longer phone cords to assist access for people in wheelchair and walking frames, as well as for children.With these considerations, the researchers visualized a functional and secured structural design of the Public Phone System to provide safety features for the said users.Thesis call number: TH 2540
