Résumé du livre
Since the Israeli-Arab blitzkrieg of 1967 there has been a rush, to the press, of articles and books on the subject including public interest and concern. The majority of the books have presented the matter from the secular viewpoint, analyzing the military, economic, political, sociological and humanitarian aspects. Others apply biblical interpretation from the viewpoint of eschatology while still others, anticipating the prophetic interpretation, have sought to negate such a view in advance. It is in order to present a middle-of-the-road review and appraisal, by bringing together the secular and spiritual aspects of the events in the Middle East during these ominous days, that this book has been written. The author of this book travels extensively throughout the world and has made a number of trips to the Holy Land. The background for this book was his trip in May 1967 when he was in Jerusalem when things were getting very tense. Dr. Olson left Israel just before the war erupted.
