The Faith of Abraham

The obedience Yahweh requires is not about strict devotion to traditions and laws. Some of those traditions and laws come from the Scriptures so they are important, but most of them are nothing more than man-made tradition. Most of those traditions are unimportant. In fact, they stand in the way of progress because it's so easy for people to see them as substitutes for faith. Many people have done that to their own detriment. Yahweh did not create us to obey rules. He created us to love Him and to work with Him on the implementation of His plan. I call it the faith of Abraham. It's a faith with legs, and it's required.
