This is a true story of the experiences of an immigrant woman who moved into UK. The story relates the experiences of the immigrant woman in trying to fit into the new country and become a legal member of society, her attempts to access the employment market and the culture shock she suffered on being rejected and excluded from a profession she had known and enjoyed all her life. The story describes how one's quality of life can be grossly affected by unclear decisions made in one public office. This story raises questions about aspects of race relations, equal opportunities, professional standards and human rights.
