This account book is a record of farm and business activities including the sale of farm produce (butter, cheese, vinegar, potatoes, corn, pumpkins, and cider), lumbering operations, drayage and horse rental, pasturage, day labor accounts, and rental incomes. There are also charges for dressing flax and cloth, shirting, weaving cloth, and coat making (done by Mason's wife). The family also boarded the local schoolmaster.
