A One act play based on true story set in Victorian Cheltenham, England. Evelina Marmon is a popular bar maid at the Plough Inn; Unable to afford to keep her new born child, she finds a solution to her dilemma through an advertisement in the local press. She begins a correspondence with Mrs Harding in order to secure the future security of her child and return to work..... but Mrs Harding holds a terrible secret that leads to tragic consequences.
