They say God works in mysterious ways, and this couldn’t be more true in the case of small-town girl Becky. Molested as a young child, Becky ends up, not surprisingly, on the streets, a drug addict who prostitutes for money. She meets Alexis, who invites her to come back with her to her apartment to clean her up and to teach her how to survive on the streets.

After a strange—and perhaps imaginary—visit from an angel of God, Becky begins to see the ways God is working in her life. The Child of God reminds us that our Father never leaves our side, even in all of our wrongdoings.
