A series of short stories written mainly by Conan Derrick Holmes, Chief Inspections Office of HQ Nimbus 9. They concern requests made to the Supreme Authority in coping with perplexities and problems of life; even the joys of life require a little celestial assistance on occasion. Once again, in his peace-loving capacity, Holmes has done his best to supply tales of events in the lives of many. He is a self-confessed glutton for happy endings - infinitely preferable, he claims, to those other endings that so often dismay (his personal view of course).
