A collection of short, creative non-fiction about writer George Wilson's experiences in Reno, Nevada. Gambling, drugs, murder in the streets and life in and around low income residence hotels are but a few experiences Wilson tells about in America's "biggest little city." Urban seniors are compelled to walk mean streets in dangerous cities around the country and the stories within "A Neon Glow In The Night" describe a sober senior's view of a city that with the exception of its 24-7 status as a decaying gambling mecca is much like any other dangerous American urban environment. But hey, Reno has some attractive parks and decent coffee houses and a river runs through it too.
