The year-in-a-life, Holiday Family series begins in the golden autumn days of October. Eleven-soon-to-be-twelve- Rebecca Holiday, twin, Ryan and sister, Emma, live with “Aunt-T” (Aunt Tessa) in the idyllic midcentury town of Clairmont.

Middle school life at St. Michael’s Academy has mostly-do-right thing, Becca on October overload. Exploring their sprawling Victorian attic in search of Halloween costumes, a pumpkin project, class hayride, and planning a birthday party are all on Becca’s to-do list. Not on Becca’s list are first crushes, annoying siblings, and a forbidden Slam Book creating havoc throughout Sixth Class.

Family and friendship challenges will culminate Halloween night in the century-old attic, where Becca will discover holidays can bring epic surprises.
