Published in 1908, at just about the same time as "Wolfville Nights," Wolfville Folks continues the hilarious events of the residents of wolfville, a small Arizona town, or "camp," as it's called by its residents. The honor of Wolfville reposes in the keeping of the Old Cattleman, who is the narrator of the "doings" of Wolfvillites; to Doc Petts, "the genteelest sharp an' the best eddicated ever dwells in Arizona"; to Sam Enright, "the soul of fairness"; to Cherokee Hall, "predestined kyard sharp"; and other frequenters of the Red Light.
